Facility and Staff
Our state-of-the-art facility features a variety of kennels and suites. (Check out the options below.) Each is designed to provide a cozy and secure environment where your dog can relax and feel at ease. Each kennel is equipped with comfortable K9 Ballistics beds, climate-controlled surroundings, and regular cleaning to ensure a hygienic and welcoming space.
Whether you’re away for a weekend or an extended trip, our dedicated team ensures your dog receives personalized attention, daily exercise, and plenty of love, making their stay enjoyable and stress-free.
Our kennel technicians are trained in canine behavior and welfare. We maintain a low dog-to-staff ratio to monitor interactions and provide attentive care. Our kennel technicians will escort your dog outside four times a day: morning, noon, evening, and before bed.

At K9.5, safety and health are our top priorities. All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations (DA2PP, Bordetella and Rabies) and free of parasites, ensuring a healthy environment for everyone. Our facility features bio-sealed flooring for easy sanitation, fresh water available at all times, and a climate-controlled environment to keep your dog comfortable year-round.
Instead of the floor drains that are found in many boarding facilities, we use a wet vacuum system to clean our floors. This cleans more effectively, resulting in a more sanitary environment.

Shout out to K9.5 for boarding my 2 fellas! They had only boarded once before when they were younger & I was nervous. Everyone was so good to them. I received pictures and updates on them every day. They always looked so happy. They even had fun at Day Play & they are not used to playing with other dogs. I know it’s because they were so loved and happy. You can tell by the way owners Larry & Missy Hopper interact with the customers and their pets that they absolutely love what they are doing. These guys will definitely be back! Common Questions
Can our family’s dogs share a kennel?
Yes! At K9.5, we permit co-boarding, as long as the dogs are from the same family and the owner approves.
However, we may, at any time, separate family dogs into separate kennels, based upon temperaments and feeding requirements.
Will my dog be interacting with other dogs while boarding?
What do I need to bring for my dog while boarding?
How many times a day will my dog be let out to potty and play?
Is it loud and stressful for my dog in the kennel area?
During let out times, most dogs love to talk and say hi.
But when let outs are over, the dogs are quiet and those in TV suites are able to listen to the soothing music of Dog TV on YouTube or other dog shows.
Do you have cameras for us to watch our dog while away?
We at K9.5 have indoor and outdoor cameras for the K9.5 owners to monitor activities 24/7.
We love for our owners to relax and enjoy their vacations, knowing their dog is safe and secure. We will send you photos of your dog’s boarding experience.
The pergola in our outdoor play area has misters to keep the dogs cool when it’s hot outside.
